Room With A View In Monument Valley

USA

Monument Valley doesn’t seem real. It’s like driving onto another planet. Not only is the landscape unique, but the valley feels sacred. Famously the backdrop for many western films, this sight doesn’t compare.

Located within the Navajo reservation, ‘The View’ hotel is locally owned and operated by the Navajo people. It’s is the only accomodation in the valley and is the best way to immerse yourself into this unique landscape.

Why We Loved It..

  • Uninterrupted views of Monument Valley from your balcony (or bed!).

  • Being the only accomodation in the valley, this is the most convenient way to see the sunrise & sunset over Monument Valley.

  • ‘The View’ Hotel is Navajo owned and operated.

What To Do Nearby..

  • Visit John Ford point for the most spectacular view of the valley.

  • Visit the ‘Forest Gump Point’ for the iconic view of the road leading to Monument Valley.

  • Stand on the border of Utah & Arizona.

  • Take up a horse riding tour through the valley with a local.

How To Get There..

A 2.5 hour drive from Flagstaff Arizona and Moab, Monument Valley is absolutely worth the visit if you happen to be road tripping through the area.

How To Book..

We recommend booking the cabins, as they’re secluded from the hotel.

The hotel is a little dated, but is price accordingly so theres no room for disappointment.
